What am I allowed to seal or expunge in Florida?
March 2016
Orlando criminal defense attorney Jack Kaleita from Longwood, talks about what you are allowed to seal or expunge under Florida criminal law:
What am I allowed to seal or expunge under Florida law?
"Basically in Florida you are allowed to seal or expunge any offense that you are arrested for, where the offense was dismissed or no information was filed by the state. In other words, nothing became of it, you were never charged, you were never convicted, adjudication was never withheld, it was dismissed. If it was dismissed, most of the time you can get it expunged."
